LUX School Family,

Thank you for entrusting us with the care and education of your children. Your continued support enables us to provide a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment where your child can thrive.

We are writing to inform you of an upcoming change to our tuition rates. Effective June 2nd, there will be a increase of $25 per month for all students. This adjustment enables us to sustain the exceptional programs, devoted staff, and enriching resources that make The LUX School a cherished environment for your family, while also being mindful of the financial needs of our families.

Additionally, we would like to inform you that tuition for students that attend Don Jeter Elementary will increase by $50 per month for after school care starting August 2025.

For those planning to continue with us during the summer session, we would like to let you know about our summer activity fee. This annual fee is designed to cover the cost of exciting summer programs, field trips, and age-appropriate activities. The fee will vary based on the age of your child and is as follows:

Novus 2 - Twos (ages 1-2): $100

Transition-Preschoolers (ages 3-5): $150

School-Age Children (PK +): $200

We will provide a detailed schedule of summer activities closer to the start of the session so you can see all the enriching experiences planned for your child.

We understand that any change in tuition is significant, and we are committed to working with families to make this transition as smoothly as possible. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Summer Withdrawal Policy

Parents who wish to withdraw their child(ren) from The Lux School for the summer (June and July) with

the intention of returning in the Fall (August) must follow the procedures outlined below:

  • 14-day written notice must be provided to the Registrar (registrar@theluxschool.com)
  • Registration fee must be pre-paid (non-refundable)
  • One full month tuition must be pre-paid (non-refundable)

Registration and Supply Fees (non-refundable)

An annual registration fee of $175.00 shall be paid upon enrollment which is marked by the completion of all enrollment paperwork.

This fee is assessed each August for all currently enrolled children regardless of when your child(ren) initially enrolled.

Please note, there is also a $250 supply fee to cover all additional materials needed for individualized classroom supplies and materials.

Outside of personal toileting materials, nap mats, and backup clothes, parents are not required to provide any additional supplies or materials for schooling.
